The Master of Creative Practice course duration is 18 months full-time (part-time for 3 years). This is Level 9 programme. You can build your own Masters degree as a stair-cased qualification.

The Master of Creative Practice will make you learn independently and collaboratively in studio and classroom environments. The course is meant for all kinds of creative fields – graphic designers, contemporary artists, photographers, product designers, animators, game designers, performing artists, UX designers, directors, actors, dancers, filmmakers, costume and technical artists, producers, and digital creatives.

Entry Requirement: A recognised Bachelor’s degree in the same or similar discipline, or an equivalent professional qualification in a relevant field. Or a postgraduate diploma in a discipline relevant to your proposed programme of study, equivalent to degree.

In English language, you need 8 credits at NCEA level 2 (4 in reading, 4 in writing).
