In the Graduate Diploma in Human Nutrition course students will learn about biological chemistry which is the study of how chemicals work within the human body.
Students will look at micro and macro nutrients, including carbohydrates, protein and fats that are required by the human body to produce physiological function. They will also learn about population nutrition and disease, applied research, research projects and work placements.
This course is offered to students at the Christchurch-Madras Street campus of the Ara Institute of Canterbury in New Zealand.
Entry Requirements: IELTS 6.5 (academic) with no less than 7.0 in speaking, listening and 6.0 in reading, writing along with a recognised bachelor’s degree preferably in health science.
