Graduate Diploma in Physical Activity, Health and Wellness: Professionalise in the fields of physical activity, health and wellness

The Graduate Diploma in Physical Activity, Health and Wellness teaches students about physical activity and associated disciplines, it aims at enabling people to take control and improve their health and wellness.

Students will learn to create targeted exercise programmes and prescribe them to improve population health and wellness. They will gain an understanding in both individual behaviour as well as a wide range of social and environmental interventions in population health. The course will also enable them to gain knowledge of physical activities for special populations.

This course is offered at the Christchurch-Madras Street campus of Ara Institute of Canterbury in New Zealand.

Entry Requirements: IELTS 7.0 (academic) with no less than 7.0 in speaking, listening and 6.0 in reading,writing. Students will also require a recognised bachelor’s degree in applied health science or equivalent.
