The Master of Landscape Architecture course duration is 18 months full-time (part-time for two-and-a-half years). This is Level 9 programme. The Master of Landscape Architecture is a qualification for people who have practiced or studied in one of these areas and want to advance their skills and explore an area of their interest.

It’s a ‘research through design’ programme created to contribute to the landscape design discipline as well as your own professional development. The key outcome of this programme is a master level project that demonstrates your specialised skill and/or knowledge in your area of chosen expertise.

Entry Requirement: A recognised Bachelor’s degree in the same or similar discipline, or an equivalent professional qualification in a relevant field. Or a postgraduate diploma in a discipline relevant to your proposed programme of study, equivalent to degree.

In English language, you need 8 credits at NCEA level 2 (4 in reading, 4 in writing).
