Bachelor of Design and Arts: Stepping stone to enter the vibrant art and design industries

The Bachelor of Design and Arts course at UCOL offers students the unique opportunity of learning from some of the top professionals in the field, students will also gain practical skills through intern projects, drawing, art/design labs, history, theory and professional practice.

Students in this programme can choose a major field to specialize in, some of these fields include:

• Visual arts: Painting, sculpture, photography, glass, digital arts.
• Textile/Fashion design: Fabric printing, garment construction, textile art, fashion photography.
• Graphic design: Typography and print, animation, video, web.

This course is offered to students at the Whanganui campus of the Universal College of Learning in New Zealand.

Entry requirements: IELTS 6.0 with no band score lower than 5.5 or equivalent.
