Master of Nursing Science (Pre-registration)
The Master of Nursing Science (Pre-registration) is a level 9 programme. It can be completed full-time over 2 years. On successful completion, graduates will be awarded a Master of Nursing Science (Pre-registration) and be eligible to apply to the Nursing Council of New Zealand (NCNZ) to sit the State Final Examination to become a registered nurse.
The targeted learners for this programme are graduates wanting a career change and graduates who are looking for a career.
The programme will be delivered using a blended and flexible model of delivery to enable students to undertake studies closer to home. Theory content is delivered in block courses supported by online teaching and learning activities and with a high level of engagement between learners, academic staff, and clinical experience partners.
Entry requirement: Graduates who have achieved a recognised bachelor’s degree with a minimum B grade (65%) in the third year of their qualifying degree will be considered for this programme.
English language required with IELTS score of 7 in the academic band, with no individual band score lower than 7.0.
